After a longer-than-expected hiatus, Music City Roots—Nashville’s beloved Americana showcase—is back, and it’s coming home to Harken Hall.
Experience performances from Vince Gill, Rodney Crowell, Darrell Scott, Rob Ickes, and The McCrary Sisters, in an evening that celebrates both legacy and renewal.
Hosted by legend Jim Lauderdale, the show will feature acclaimed writer and interviewer Barclay Randall alongside “Ranger Doug” (Douglas B. Green) of Riders in the Sky and The Time Jumpers. This special event marks a triumphant reintroduction of Music City Roots — the show that inspired the creation of Harken Hall itself. Designed to deliver an intimate live experience alongside world-class broadcast technology, Harken Hall is the perfect setting for Roots’ next chapter, with the launch concert airing live on WMOT-Roots Radio.
For more than a decade, Music City Roots has celebrated the education, preservation, and evolution of American roots music. This reunion is more than a concert—it’s a homecoming, a broadcast event, and a joyful reminder of the community this music creates.
